After we've received your information, via online or over the phone, we will send you the rental agreement for you to look over and sign. Once that is signed and returned to us, along with the required deposit - you are guaranteed a fountain!
We see no reason to charge you separately for something that should be included in a service we are providing. So yes, the chocolate is included.
We do offer our white chocolate to be colored to a specific request, but please know that we think it's silly to charge for this service...donations are greatly appreciated.
We take into account several factors when recommending the size fountains and the included amount of chocolate you need:
1. Is there food served beforehand?
2. Are there other desserts?
3. How many of the guests are
children?
4. Type of event
In our experience, we have figured that every pound of chocolate will serve about 15 adults, on average. We've seen as little as 10 adults for every pound. It just depends on how much your guests love chocolate.
Included in the price we quote you is 2.5 hours of Cascading Chocolate. This is plenty of time for you to enjoy the fountain before, during, and after the dessert course.
We will always be considerate of your needs and will bring to your attention the option to continue running the fountain if you would like.
Some clients like to keep the fountain running for longer and on occasion chocolate needs to be added to keep the fountain running smoothly.
We make every effort to arrange everything beforehand so you can enjoy the evening with your guests, but of course we would be delighted if you wanted our fountains around longer.

Every package comes with a fountain, chocolate, and skewers. Every package includes delivery, setup, and cleanup of the fountains except the self-service Select packages.
Only the Elite and Premier packages include an attendant for the duration of your rental.
You've got great taste, so we'll leave the decorating to you (although the dessert table will take little effort with a Cascades' Fountain). Plates, napkins, and serving platters we can provide at an additional cost. Other than that, you won't need anything other than some delectable dipping items.

For events held in banquet halls, restaurants, and hotels, it is usually their policy to provide all of the food that will be served at the event. However, the Chocolate Fountains are always an exception.
Cascades will provide dippables for smaller events where another caterer/in-house event coordinator is not being used or when they would prefer us provide them.
Kids - Consistency - & Cleanliness.
Kids - While you always have an eye on your children, other parents do not - "Kids + Chocolate Fountain = A Potential Chocolate Mess." An attendant will make sure there's no 'double-dipping' or confusion that they're at the Millennium Park water fountains.
Consistency - an attendant will ensure no dipping items are blocking the flow of the chocolate, that the chocolate remains at the right temperature, and that the fountain runs perfectly for the duration of your event!
Cleanliness - our attendants are always happy to help maintain your dessert table, refill dipping items if needed, and keep the presentation of the fountain and surrounding area looking like the beginning of the event. Cascades is highly concerned with how our fountains are presented, which includes everything that surrounds it.
